Our Scout Program

Troop Meetings

Weekly troop meetings are run by the scouts. Our troop feels strongly that scouts must adhere to the patrol method established by Sr. Baden Powell almost 100 years ago. Our scouts learn by doing, and by having good role models for leadership.

Outdoor Program

Our troop tries to plan one event per month, taking a little time off at the holidays. Camping, hiking, backing packing, canoeing, mountain biking, archery...what ever the scouts would like to try, we find the resources to make it happen.

Troop Committee

Our troop is committed to creating and maintaining a well structured and defined program. This occurs through a process of clear communication and well structured monthly committee meetings. Our goal is to create a program that is fun, nurturing, and rewarding for each scout in our program. All parents are welcome at these meetings.

Parental Involvement

We encourage parents to become involved in our program. We also ask that at least one parent of each scout undergo our basic training requirements for the troop. This gives each scout family a clear understanding of our program as well as  the safety requirements that are set in place by the Detroit Area Council of the Boys Scouts of America.

Regardless of your background in scouting, parents are encouraged to participate in the Troop 732 program.

Regular Troop Meetings are held at

The Livonia Elks Club

31117 Plymouth Rd.
